Kit comes with all of the parts needed to build your own machine from the ground up. Starting with a precision frame, CNC cut from billet Ductile Iron. With a choice of two different frame styles and geometry, this in turn determines the appropriate coil size, capacitor, and armature bar. All coils come covered with black Gaff tape. The shader comes with 1 1/8” eight wrap 24 AWG coils with pure iron cores, a 47 μF capacitor, and a 1 7/8” pure iron armature bar. The outliner includes 1 1/4” six wrap 22 AWG coils with pure iron cores, a 22 μF capacitor and an extended nipple 1 5/8” pure iron speed bar. All other parts consist of a pair of brass front and rear binding posts, a copper contact screw, all 8/32” socket cap, and flat head screws needed, brass and fiber insulating washers, steel shims, one tube vice screw, two 18 gauge springs front and back, and 4” of black wire insulation. Coil, Capacitor, and armature bar sizes can be changed, only if specified in the additional notes section bellow.
PLEASE NOTE THE COILS AND CAPACITOR DO NOT COME PREWIRED TOGETHER, AND THE REAR SPRING IS NOT PREPUNCHED FOR THE A-BAR, THESE STEPS YOU MUST DO YOURSELF.
