All coils are hand wound with the use of high quality, and well insulated magnet wire wrapped around a low carbon steel or pure iron coil core, and capped with a variety of phenolic, or fiber washers. You must choose from the options below: The wire gauge and number of wraps, the height, diameter, and material of the cores, and which coil covering you prefer. Please read the Description section bellow for coil core treatment and coil washer information.

Description
If you are particular about the core finishes or specific coil washers, please list your preferences in the additional notes section above. All of the steel cores are heat treated and are either left unfinished or treated with a black oxide finish. Please be aware that the Brown Phenolic coil washers only fit the 3/8″ diameter cores, and the Black Phenolic, and Black, White, and Red Fiber washers only fit the 5/16″ diameter cores.
